The purpose of Grano Project Management is to help users mainly with executing and managing projects related to marketing. It collects together all data related to the project away from your emails, for example.

You can link the project materials to the service directly from Grano’s Material Management or upload them from your own computer, tablet device or mobile phone. The materials can be commented on, compared and approved, and the final versions can be published, for example back to the Material Bank. All discussions related to the project will also be stored together in the project management.

The project management communicates to the project users about the events by email and shows the events in chronological order in a list in the project’s “home view”:https://manual.emmi.fi/6/en/topic/project-home. The users can choose which project member they wish to notify by email about a change they have made. The messages will be sent to the email address defined in the user information.

User groups of project management

The service’s administrator will give the user access to project management by adding them to one of the following user groups. The service’s default names for the groups are presented below.

User group Description
PM Admin Can view and do anything in project management, regardless of the project role.
PM Owner Can create new projects on the main level, views the projects that they have created or to which they have been added.
PM User Sees the projects to which they have been added, may also create subprojects depending on the role of the project.
PM See All Sees all the projects and can download the files related to the project.

Roles

The user rights to a project depend on the selected role, which is selected by the project owner. Default roles and rights of project members:
